Ford Explorer EV
The Ford Explorer EV is worlds apart from its previous iterations. This new version sports a 77 or 79-kWh battery. Its extended-range motor produces 282 horsepower, while the all-wheel drive churns 335 horsepower. The latter version can go from 0-60 miles per hour in 5.3 seconds and has a range of 329 miles. Interior-wise, the Explorer is described as fresh-looking. It aspires beyond what competitors in the same class have done. Comfort is excellent, and the cabin offers a relaxed charm.
GMC Hummer EV
The Hummer EV was repurposed after two decades in the archives and reintroduced as an EV super-truck in 2023. The new version was quite successful, offering two or three electric motors.
